How to Make a Memory Board!

How to Make a Memory Board

Memory boards are really awesome things to hang on your wall and store reminders, pictures, medals, memorabilia, etc. It's a fun and simple thing to make and forever use!

Supplies Needed:
A Bulletin (Cork) Board
Quilt Batting
Fabric
Ribbon
Push Pins
Stapler or Staple Gun
Any Other Extra Decor Wanted

Step 1: First place your cork board in the middle of the batting, so that it is easy to evenly fold the batting on each side.

Step 2: Fold one side over the cork board and staple it across, so that it is secured.
Then do that for each side, and make sure the corners are neatly folded.
It should look like the picture to the right when you turn it over.
Step 3: Turn it back over and place it in the center of your fabric, which should be faced down. Fold over and staple the fabric on one side of the board, just like you did with the batting.

Do the same for the remaining sides, and make sure that the corners are neatly folded over.

It should look like the picture to the left when you turn it over.
Step 4: Cut pieces of ribbon, any colors of your choice, and line them diagonally across the front of the board, making sure to staple each end on the back of the board.
Once you finish the ribbons going in one direction, do the same thing in the opposite direction. Secure the center of the intersecting ribbons with a push pin.
It should look like the picture to the right once finished.
You can add other creative things to your board, like a fancy boarder.
When everything is completed, add your memorabilia to your board and hang it up. Enjoy!
